Jessica Grabowski

Counselor - MS, MA

As a therapist, I believe in the transformative power of being truly seen. At the heart of my work is the understanding that the therapeutic relationship itself can be a deeply reparative experience—one rooted in empathy and authenticity. I believe true healing happens in connection. When someone genuinely sees you—without judgment—it creates space for healing, clarity, and a deeper sense of self. My role is to hold your story with care and compassion, helping you rediscover your strength, process old wounds, and step into a fuller, more empowered version of yourself.

My approach is relational and holistic. I meet you where you are, walking alongside you at your pace while offering guidance when needed. I believe each of us holds an innate capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns.

My client-centered, strengths-based style draws from an integrative range of modalities, including (but not limited to):

  • Psychoanalytic Theory

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Mindfulness

  • Play Therapy

I’m especially passionate about helping clients explore how past experiences influence present challenges—and how insight can lead to self-acceptance, resilience, and meaningful change.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent 25 years in the nonprofit sector, strengthening services and programs for children, families, and communities. I hold a B.S. in Psychology from Montclair State University, an M.A. in Management from New York University, and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University.

Outside of my work, I find joy in spending time with my husband, our two children, and our mini goldendoodle, Miles. I love traveling, discovering new restaurants, enjoying live music, watching great movies, and sharing meaningful moments with friends and loved ones.

It would be an honor to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.

“What you focus on grows. What you think about expands. And what you dwell upon determines your destiny.”
