About Grace
Grace is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who provides telehealth and in-person counseling services to clients located in Georgia. Grace works with adults (18+) and offers an understanding and compassionate approach. Grace earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University. Grace has experience with working for a community mental health agency with a wide variety of clients and at a substance use rehabilitation program working with women in recovery.
Who Grace Works With
Grace works with adults who may be:
processing trauma or a traumatic event
going through life transitions or adjustments
struggling with substance use problems
experiencing stress with work, school, or other areas of life
dealing with self-injurious behaviors and/or suicidal ideations
Therapeutic Approach
Grace's work is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Grace uses evidence-based techniques and practices to support her clients and to help them reach their goals. Through an empathetic and non-judgmental lens, Grace helps clients:
identify irrational thoughts or beliefs that negatively impact the client's wellbeing
heal from traumatic situations, events, or relationships
learn how to break free from substance use patterns and habits
find alternatives to self-injurious behaviors
process and overcome suicidal ideations
