About Emily Chin
Emily Chin is an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) providing trauma-informed therapy for adults and couples in a compassionate, supportive, and affirming environment. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2023 and specializes in helping adult clients navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, and identity-related concerns.
Emily believes that meaningful healing happens through connection, safety, and collaboration. She is intentional about meeting clients where they are, honoring their lived experiences, and tailoring therapy to support emotional insight, regulation, and long-term growth.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to support trauma recovery and emotional healing
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen attachment and relational bonds in couples
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thought patterns and emotional responses
Sandtray Therapy to support emotional expression and processing when words feel limiting
Mindfulness-based and experiential techniques to build emotional awareness and regulation
Emily values creative and experiential methods that help clients access deeper insight while maintaining emotional safety and control.
