Online Therapy for Trauma, Anxiety, and Relationships in Georgia and Utah

About Catherine

Catherine provides online EMDR and trauma therapy for adolescents and adults. She works with clients who are often high functioning on the outside but internally struggling with anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, and relational insecurity. Many describe overthinking, emotional reactivity, and a sense of being constantly on edge or “holding everything together.”

For some, these patterns are rooted in childhood attachment wounds or family dynamics. For others, they developed through experiences of religious or spiritual harm, toxic work environments, or a gradual erosion of self trust over time.

Catherine’s clinical focus is on how unresolved trauma, attachment wounds, and experiences of shame, neglect, or abandonment shape these patterns over time. This often shows up as difficulty trusting others, fear of closeness or rejection, and beliefs such as “something is wrong with me” or “I can’t relax even when things are okay.”

Therapy focuses on helping clients move toward greater emotional steadiness, self trust, and alignment with what matters most.

EMDR Therapy for Nervous System Healing

Catherine offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, known as EMDR, for trauma, anxiety, and attachment related distress.

EMDR does not require you to extensively retell or describe distressing experiences. Instead, it works directly with how those experiences are stored in the brain and body, reducing their emotional intensity and how easily they are triggered.

Clients often notice:

• Emotional reactions that feel stronger than the present situation• Feeling easily triggered in relationships or at work• An ongoing sense of threat despite knowing they are safe• Persistent shame, fear, or self blame
