About Michelle
Michelle Seagle-Amaya is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) who specializes in child and adolescent counseling, while also providing supportive therapy for adults. Michelle is passionate about helping children and teens feel understood, supported, and empowered as they navigate emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.
Her work aligns closely with Reflections Counseling & Coaching’s Child Therapy and Teen Counseling services, supporting young clients through anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, and life transitions in a developmentally appropriate and compassionate way.
Child & Teen Counseling Focus
Michelle works with children and adolescents who may be experiencing:
Anxiety, worries, or emotional overwhelm
Difficulty regulating emotions or managing big feelings
Behavioral challenges at home or school
Stress related to family changes, school transitions, or social pressures
Adjustment concerns during key developmental stages
Michelle uses an age-appropriate, collaborative approach to help young clients express themselves safely while building coping skills that support long-term emotional well-being.
In addition to child and teen therapy, Michelle also works with adolescents and adults seeking a supportive and empathetic counseling experience. Her approach emphasizes emotional awareness, healthy coping strategies, and personal growth through collaboration and trust.
Michelle meets clients where they are and tailors each session to their individual needs, goals, and developmental stage.
